Shipping corridors which separate incoming from outgoing vessels. Improperly called Sea Lanes. Outside is the inshore traffic zone (ITZ) which should not be used, except if you are approaching or leaving a port of call or for safety reasons. Between the two lanes, there are the separation zones. Most TSS are adopted by IMO and are therefore implemented in international and national reglemantations.
